Volleyball Recap: Skyline Gets the Win

Imlay City typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Skyline proved too difficult a challenge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Spartans. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Spartans back in August, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Skyline's win bumped their record up to 18-9-2. As for Imlay City, their loss ended a 12-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-5.

Skyline wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Marysville on the 27th. As for Imlay City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Milford on the 27th.
