Mansfield waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Foxborough Warriors 55-40. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Warriors are ranked 124th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mansfield's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Foxborough, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Looking ahead, Mansfield will face off against Canton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Mansfield knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Canton likes a good challenge. As for Foxborough, they are taking a road trip to square off against North Attleborough at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in North Attleborough's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
