Volleyball Game Preview: Edwards County Lions vs. Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Fighting Cardinals

The Edwards County Lions will square off against the Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Fighting Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Edwards County comes in on four and Norris City-Omaha-Enfield on three.

Edwards County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Trico.

Edwards County never let Trico on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 29-27, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Norris City-Omaha-Enfield was able to grind out a solid win over Cisne on Thursday, taking the game 2-0.

Norris City-Omaha-Enfield's victory bumped their record up to 35-2. As for Edwards County, their win bumped their record up to 34-4.

Edwards County came up short against Norris City-Omaha-Enfield in their previous meeting back in October, falling 2-0. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
