Basketball Recap: Virginia Episcopal School Extends Winning Streak to Two

Virginia Episcopal School won the last time they faced Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association, and Sasha Brody did her part to make sure it happened again. The Virginia Episcopal School Bishops put the hurt on the Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association Patriots with a sharp 57-32 win on Thursday thanks in part to Brody, who dropped a double-double on 38 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was her third in a row with at least ten points.

Izzy Gunter also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steals of the season. She also grabbed five steals, which is notable because Virginia Episcopal School is undefeated when she posts at least five steals, but 4-5 otherwise.

The victory made it two in a row for Virginia Episcopal School and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Virginia Episcopal School has already played their next matchup (against Jefferson Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against St. Margaret's.
