Volleyball Recap: Chapman Comes Up Short

Chapman lost against First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Crusaders. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rowan Raney paced Chapman's offense, picking up 13 kills. Raney got some help from Ashley Lee and her 14 assists.

Chapman's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Chapman will challenge Mountain View Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against St. Joseph's Catholic on the 13th.
