Freedom has gone 8-2 against Liberty recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Patriots will host the Hurricanes at 1:00 p.m.

Freedom is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Easton Area just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Rovers by a score of 17-14. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Rovers are ranked ninth).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Liberty, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They took down Bethlehem Catholic 35-20 on Friday.

Freedom better keep an eye on Antonio Fontanez. He was instrumental in Liberty's win, rushing for 86 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, while also throwing for 192 yards and one TD on only 17 passes. Those 86 rushing yards gave Fontanez a new career-high. Liberty's leading receiver Jake Pukszyn was Fontanez's top target yet again, picking up 109 receiving yards and one score.

Liberty's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.5 points over those games. As for Freedom, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Freedom took their victory against Liberty in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 44-24 score. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Hurricanes' Zyaire Davis, who picked up 129 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
