Baseball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington was the 4-1 winner over Kennedy when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Washington has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Kennedy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Washington will be playing at home against Iowa City West at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kennedy, they will face off against West Liberty at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
