Volleyball Recap: Clemente Takes a Loss

The Clemente Wildcats didn't have quite enough to beat the Wells Raiders on Wednesday and fell 2-1.

While Clemente ultimately came up short, they really made Wells work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 22-25, 28-26.

Clemente dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Wells, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5.

Coming up, Clemente will venture away from home to square off against Raby at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wells, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Noble Street College Prep on the 17th.
