Softball Recap: Seminole Ridge Drops Season-High Score on Forest Hill

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seminole Ridge). They put the hurt on the Forest Hill Falcons with a sharp 18-3 win on Tuesday. With that victory, the Hawks brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Seminole Ridge got a massive performance out of Haven Berryhill, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave Berryhill a new career-high. Cailee Sessions was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

Seminole Ridge hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 5-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Seminole Ridge has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Forest Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-15.
