The Legend Titans will head out on the road to face off against the Ponderosa Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Legend is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.5 points per game this season.

Legend is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Highlands Ranch, who was ranked sixth at the time (Legend was ranked third). Legend fell 62-50 to Highlands Ranch on Tuesday. That makes it the first time this season the Titans have let down their home crowd.

Despite the loss, Legend got top-tier performance from Grace Stanley, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 17 points and three steals. Stanley is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mason Borcherding, who went 5-for-11 en route to 12 points and seven boards.

Even though they lost, Legend smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in nine consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Ponderosa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were beaten by Chaparral 66-26. The Mustangs were down 59-17 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Legend's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 17-5. As for Ponderosa, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-19.

Everything came up roses for Legend against Ponderosa when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the team secured an 80-18 victory. In that match, Legend amassed a halftime lead of 38-8, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
