Baseball Game Preview: Lewisville Farmers vs. Braswell Bengals

The Lewisville Farmers are taking a road trip to square off against the Braswell Bengals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lewisville not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 4th. Everything went their way against Braswell as Lewisville made off with a 9-2 win.

Trenton Brantley looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Donovan Smith and Jaxon Markham did most of the damage at the plate: Smith scored three runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Markham scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-3. Andres Naranjo Olivares also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Braswell has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11-2 record this season. The victory got Lewisville back to even at 5-5.
