Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ludington). They had just enough and edged out the Montague Wildcats 8-6. The win was some much needed relief for the Orioles as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Ludington's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-12. As for Montague, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Ludington will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair will be back at it again later today.
