Saturday just wasn't the day for Warrenton's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs on Saturday. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Warrenton's loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Umpqua Valley Christian, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3.

Warrenton and Umpqua Valley Christian should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings. The Warriors will square off against Rainier at 3:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (34 vs. 176). Meanwhile, Umpqua Valley Christian (ranked 28th) will meet Lowell (ranked 97th) at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Monarchs have won three straight at home, while the Devils won seven straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
