Pass Christian is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. They will square off against the Greene County Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Pass Christian took a 49-point loss the last time they faced off against East Central, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Pirates skirted past the Hornets 35-33. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Paris Trivillion and Maddox Dunn. Trivillion had a great game on Friday and threw for 187 yards and three TDs. Meanwhile, Dunn was balling out in the loss, rushing for 192 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also throwing for 71 yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Greene County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They had just enough and edged out Gautier 24-21.
