Desert's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. Their rough 14-1 defeat to California City might stick with them for a while. Desert has struggled against California City recently, as their contest on Thursday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Desert bumped their record down to 1-11 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home. As for California City, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Desert will stay at home for another game and welcome Kern Valley at 5:00 p.m. on January 22nd. California City will take on Mojave at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
