Dixie came tearing into Tuesday's game with 14 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Thornwell Saints as they made off with a 16-1 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 20-2 on Monday.

Dixie's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.1 runs over those games. As for Thornwell, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dixie will square off against Ninety Six at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Thornwell, they will challenge Calhoun Falls Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
