Volleyball Game Preview: Reed-Custer Comets vs. Lisle Lions

The Reed-Custer Comets will face off against the Lisle Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Reed-Custer has now lost 11 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 27.

On Thursday, Reed-Custer came up short against Wilmington and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Lisle hadn't done well against Herscher recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Lions came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers, sneaking past 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Lisle had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-23, 25-17.

Lisle's victory bumped their record up to 16-17. As for Reed-Custer, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-26.
