Volleyball Recap: Meade Extends Winning Streak to Three

Meade waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Pawnee Heights Tigers by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Buffaloes also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Meade easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-4.

Kenadie Alexander paced Meade's offense, picking up 12 kills. Alexander got some help from Sayler Stapleton and her 22 assists. Alexander also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Jaylee Eckhoff, each putting up five.

Meade now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Pawnee Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-16-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Meade will square off against rival Hodgeman County on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pawnee Heights is set to take on their familiar foe South Central on Tuesday.
