Shasta and Pleasant Valley are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2021, but not for long. The Wolves are taking a road trip to face off against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shasta will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Shasta will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Foothill, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Wolves came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 25-13, 22-25, 25-15.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Pleasant Valley's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to Carondelet.

Pleasant Valley was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20.

Pleasant Valley's loss dropped their record down to 22-13. As for Shasta, their win bumped their record up to 19-8.

Shasta beat Pleasant Valley 3-1 in their previous matchup on October 2nd. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
