Basketball Recap: South Choctaw Academy Comes Up Short

South Choctaw Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 63-31 loss at the hands of the Snook Christian Academy Eagles. One positive for the Rebels, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Snook Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Cayden Shaffer, who posted 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Shaffer has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Braiden Parker, who had 11 points.

South Choctaw Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Snook Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

South Choctaw Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Southern Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th. As for Snook Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-37 victory against Crenshaw Christian Academy on the 4th.
