St. Joseph Central skates past Glenwood with ease

Recap: St. Joseph Central Flyers vs. Glenwood Tigers

Make it four blowout wins for the St. Joseph Central Flyers this season. They really took it to Glenwood for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-39 win on the road. The victory was a breath of fresh air for St. Joseph Central as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyreke Lewis, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds. Lewis is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayse Tabor, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds.

St. Joseph Central's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Glenwood, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 5-8.

St. Joseph Central will head out on the road to challenge Peebles at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Peebles is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. Glenwood will take on Ross County Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Ross County Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
