Baseball Preview: McDowell Trojans vs. Corry Beavers        
        
		
            
 McDowell is 7-1 against Corry since April of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The McDowell Trojans will be playing at home against the Corry Beavers at 4:30  p.m. McDowell is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.6  runs per game  this season.
 McDowell scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Monday. Everything went their way against Erie as McDowell made off with  a  14-2 win. The  victory was just what McDowell needed coming off of  a  10-4 loss in their prior  contest.
  Nick Hamilton was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching five innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   three  hits. Hamilton was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI and two  doubles.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Santino Musone, who  fired off two  home runs, three  runs,  and four  RBI while going 4-for-4.  Connor Cross was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, sadly, Corry is still looking for their first win of the season after four  matchups. Their  rough  16-6 defeat to Meadville  on Monday might stick with them for a while.
 McDowell now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for Corry, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
 McDowell beat Corry 3-0  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023. Will McDowell repeat their success,  or does  Corry have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
