Volleyball Recap: Westlake Now 10-3 over Last 13 Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Westlake walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the St. Anthony Saints on Wednesday.

Bennett Julian paced Westlake's offense, picking up 16 kills. Julian got some help from Jack Currey and his 28 assists.

Westlake is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. As for St. Anthony, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-10 record this season.

Westlake will be playing at home against Crescenta Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Warriors are on a nine-game streak of home wins, the Falcons a five-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind. St. Anthony does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
