Volleyball Recap: Belleview Victorious

Belleview's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Dunnellon Tigers. The Rattlers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 16-25, 25-10.

Dunnellon lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Taytym Simonsen, who had seven aces, five kills, and four digs. Another player making a difference was Myah Roof, who had eight blocks and four digs.

Belleview's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Dunnellon, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-4.

Coincidentally, Belleview and Dunnellon will both be playing Leesburg the next time they take the court. The Rattlers will host the Yellow Jackets at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
