Miami Valley Christian Academy hasn't had much luck against Cincinnati Country Day recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lions will venture away from home to challenge the Nighthawks at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Miami Valley Christian Academy took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Fayetteville-Perry 61-8. The win was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Miami Valley Christian Academy found their leader in freshman Will Cameron, who threw for 287 yards and six touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also punched in one TD on the ground. The Lions' leading receiver Lucas Livezey was Cameron's top target yet again, picking up 178 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, Cincinnati Country Day humbled New Miami with a 49-6 victory. The victory continues a trend for the Nighthawks in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won five in a row.

Miami Valley Christian Academy better keep an eye on Levi Guttman. He was instrumental in Cincinnati Country Day's win, throwing for 201 yards and four TDs on perfect 7-for-7 passing.

Miami Valley Christian Academy was taken down by Cincinnati Country Day 50-19 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Lions were down 28-6.
