Riverdale barely beat Smyrna the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors' defense stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 6-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Riverdale, who have now won four matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Riverdale's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Smyrna, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Riverdale will face off against Fairview at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Fairview will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Riverdale surely won't give up without a fight. As for Smyrna, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Cookeville at 5:00 p.m.
