Softball Recap: Middletown South's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Middletown South managed to slip by Matawan Regional the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles came up short against the Huskies on Tuesday, falling 10-4. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Huskies earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Middletown South's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-2. As for Matawan Regional, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Coming up, Middletown South will venture away from home to face off against Raritan at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Rockets will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Matawan Regional, they will welcome Holmdel at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
