Softball Recap: Willow Spring Storm vs. Clayton Comets

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holly Springs, Willow Spring was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Clayton Comets with a sharp 16-6 victory. The Storm haven't had any issues with the Comets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Willow Spring let Abby Howard and Georgia Miller run wild. Howard scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances, while Miller went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Howard is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Jaiden Baker also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
