The Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Lakers will head out to face off against the Galesburg-Augusta Rams at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Saturday, Our Lady of the Lake Catholic got the win against Bangor by a conclusive 11-4. The Lakers haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Bradyn Harper, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Our Lady of the Lake Catholic is undefeated when Harper posts two or more runs, but 3-9 otherwise. Colin Watts was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, Galesburg-Augusta's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Black River a 10-0 shutout.
Jaden Fawcett made a splash no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Ethan Gibson was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases and three runs. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game. Ashton Matrau also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Our Lady of the Lake Catholic's record is now 6-9. As for Galesburg-Augusta, their record now sits at 8-5.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Saturday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster.
