Basketball Recap: Encampment Comes Up Short

Encampment was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a hard 53-35 fall against the HEM Miners. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Miners apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Encampment's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for HEM, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Encampment wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 52-31 loss against Cokeville on the 8th. As for HEM, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 40-20 win against Rock River on the 8th.
