Garrett extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 3-1. They really took it to the Fort Wayne North Side Legends for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-32 victory. The Railroaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 26 points or more this season.

Emma Coffman continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 54% from the field on her way to 35 points and six steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Garrett's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah DePew, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards.

Garrett was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fort Wayne North Side only posted six.

As for Fort Wayne North Side, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly 40 points.

Despite the loss, Fort Wayne North Side still got an impressive performance from Jayonna Flotow, who dropped a triple-double with 15 points, 15 rebounds, and ten blocks. Flotow has been hot, having posted two or more blocks the last six times she's played. Rakylah Paris was another key player, putting up five points and 11 boards.

Looking ahead, Garrett will head out on the road to face off against DeKalb at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fort Wayne North Side, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-22 loss against Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger on the 20th.
