Softball Recap: South Putnam Falls Short of Greencastle in the Playoffs

South Putnam and Greencastle squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but South Putnam had to settle for second. They lost 10-2 to the Tiger Cubs. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Eagles, who until this game were averaging three runs allowed.

Chlara Pistelli was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Elliana Cox, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.
