Soccer Recap: No Winner in Cumberland Academy's First Match

Cumberland Academy's season-opener on Saturday wasn't quite what the team was looking for considering the end result. They and the New Summerfield Hornets finished up their match with a 1-1 draw.

Cumberland Academy will host Brownsboro at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Brownsboro's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for New Summerfield, they are taking a road trip to challenge Diboll at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. New Summerfield's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
