Basketball Preview: St. Joseph Christian Lions vs. South Holt Knights
The St. Joseph Christian Lions will head out on the road to square off against the South Holt Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully St. Joseph Christian is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Knights in Missouri (the Lions are ranked 151st, while the Knights are ranked 510th).
Last Friday, St. Joseph Christian beat the Tigers 52-41.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to South Holt, who are still winless after their 21st contest. They fell just short of Osborn by a score of 23-21.
St. Joseph Christian pushed their record up to 14-6 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for South Holt, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-21.
Everything came up roses for St. Joseph Christian against the Knights when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 63-36 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Joseph Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
