Basketball Recap: Erie-Mason Comes Up Short

After flying high against Sand Creek last Thursday, Erie-Mason came back down to earth. The Erie-Mason Eagles took a 52-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Summerfield Bulldogs on Monday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Erie-Mason dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Summerfield, their record now sits at 8-2.

Erie-Mason will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Morenci at 7:00 p.m. As for Summerfield, they will face off against Monroe at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
