Basketball Recap: Hazleton Area Gets the Win

Hazleton Area posted their closest victory since February 22nd on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Crestwood Comets, sneaking past 53-50. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Hazleton Area now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Crestwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hazleton Area will be home for the holidays to greet Whitehall at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Crestwood, they will welcome Hanover Area at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
