Harnett Central had won four straight games and Allie Williams did her part to make it five on Thursday. The Trojans walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lee County Yellow Jackets for which the team can thank Williams, who had 22 digs and five assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 38 times she's played.

While Harnett Central might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Lee County scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 22-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Despite the defeat, Lee County had strong showings from Ce'Arah Stringfellow, who had 12 digs, and Hannah Britton, who had 12 digs and three aces.

Harnett Central's victory bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Lee County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.

Harnett Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Southern Lee on the 7th. As for Lee County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Union Pines on the 7th.
