Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dysart). Everything went their way against the Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks on Monday as Dysart made off with a 30-23 victory. The Demons not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 15, 2024.

Dysart got a massive performance out of Reyna Rodriguez, who went 4-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Mya Sias, who scored five runs and stole two bases while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances.

Rodriguez wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Dysart kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 24 hits. That's a new trend for Dysart: they were averaging 3.2 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 10.8.

Dysart's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Desert Sunrise, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Dysart will have a chance to go back-to-back against Desert Sunrise: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
