Basketball Recap: Clifton Central Takes a Loss

Clifton Central lost against Wilmington back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Clifton Central Comets fell 58-50 to the Wilmington Wildcats.

Ryan Kettman had a dynamite game for Wilmington, almost dropping a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. With that strong performance, Kettman is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Lucas Rink was another key player, going 5 of 10 on his way to 14 points.

Clifton Central's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Wilmington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-8.

Clifton Central has already played their next matchup, a 61-57 victory against Milford on the 1st. As for Wilmington, they will face off against Coal City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
