Basketball Recap: Weskan Takes a Loss

Weskan and Central Christian squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Weskan had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 63-47 to the Central Christian Cougars. It was the first time this season that the Coyotes let down their fans at home.

When it comes to explaining why Weskan lost, don't look at Trey Allen. Despite the final result, he posted 21 points and eight boards. The contest was Allen's third in a row with at least 19 points. Judah Crow was another key player, putting up eight points.

Weskan's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Central Christian, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-10.

As of now, neither Weskan nor Central Christian have any future games scheduled.
