Football Recap: Grissom Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Grissom extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-3. They were dealt a 40-6 loss at the hands of the James Clemens Jets. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 38-18 to the Jets when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for James Clemens, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 20 points in those games.

James Clemens' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Matthew Evers, who threw for 203 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 73.7% of his passes. Christian Richey was in the mix too, providing the Jets with two touchdowns.

Looking ahead, Grissom will welcome Albertville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for James Clemens, they will head out on the road to take on Spain Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
