Basketball Recap: Butler Comes Up Short

Butler was the 40-39 winner over Whippany Park when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Butler Bulldogs took a 61-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Whippany Park Wildcats on Monday.

Butler's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Whippany Park, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-11 record.

Butler will face off against Hopatcong at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Whippany Park has already played their next matchup (against Newton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
