Softball Recap: Browne Triumphs

While Browne's victory against North wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bruins narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Mustangs 6-5. The victory continues a trend for the Bruins in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won five in a row.

Adrianna Rodgers was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Tunisia Rios was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Browne's win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for North, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.

Browne didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-1 loss against Cesar Chavez on the 24th. As for North, they have also already played their next matchup, a 14-4 victory against Central on the 27th.
