Softball Recap: Gordo Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Gordo's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Lamar County Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Green Wave's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Gordo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Billings, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Gordo's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Lamar County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gordo will square off against Oakman at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lamar County, they will host Tuscaloosa Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
