Baseball Game Preview: Menard Yellowjackets vs. Leakey Eagles

The Menard Yellowjackets will challenge the Leakey Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Menard has given up an average of 11.4 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Menard came up short against Medina on Tuesday, falling 15-5.

Meanwhile, Leakey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of Medina.

Leakey saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vincent Pintor, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.

Leakey's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Menard, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Menard took their win against Leakey in their previous matchup on March 6th by a conclusive 12-2. Does Menard have another victory up their sleeve, or will Leakey turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
