Volleyball Game Preview: Northwest Lions vs. Ladue Horton Watkins Rams

The Northwest Lions will face off against the Ladue Horton Watkins Rams at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Northwest saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lindbergh. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Flyers: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Ladue Horton Watkins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Parkway South, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-18.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2-1. As for Ladue Horton Watkins, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
