Baseball Recap: Jenkins Cavaliers vs. Castlewood Blue Devils

Jenkins extended their losing streak to six on Monday, dropping their season record down to 2-13 in the process. They came up short against the Castlewood Blue Devils, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

As for Castlewood, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-6. The game marked their most dominant victory of the season.

For Castlewood's part, Jasper Salyers was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk).
