Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Centura). They snuck past the Ord Chanticleers with a 56-52 victory on Saturday. This was payback for the Centurions, who suffered a 55-34 loss the last time these two teams met.

Barrett Fries continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyus Francl, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 13 points and seven rebounds.

Centura was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in four consecutive contests.

Despite the loss, Ord still got an impressive performance from Elijah Pollard, who posted 12 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. Pollard is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.
