Softball Recap: West Marshall Takes a Loss

After flying high against Belle Plaine on Saturday, West Marshall came back down to earth. The Trojans fell just short of the Springville Orioles by a score of 8-7 on Saturday.

West Marshall now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Springville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season.

West Marshall will be playing in front of their home fans against South Hamilton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Springville, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Central City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
