Founders Classical Academy scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They lost to the Beaver Dam Diamondback at home by a 44-28 margin. The Centurions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Diamondback apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2020.

Sophia Siarot was Founders Classical Academy's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Julietta Curdy held things down on the boards with six rebounds.

Crissy Medina was her usual excellent self, putting up 13 points for Beaver Dam. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Garcia, who posted eight points.

Founders Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Beaver Dam, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Founders Classical Academy and Indian Springs will compete for holiday cheer at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Indian Springs' defense has only allowed 27.2 points per game this season, so Founders Classical Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Beaver Dam, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 53-17 defeat against Fredonia on the 17th.
